This Crystal Australian opal doublet has vibrant flashes of pink/red, green and a glimmer of purple. This appears different at every angle and light. I believe this opal was sold to me as a solid opal piece but have since found that is most likely a doublet opal meaning the slither of opal is glued to a dark obsidian backing to allow the colours to be as bright as they. This is hence why the price of this will be reasonably affordable compared to how it would be if it were this bright as a solid opal.
This opal was mined in South Australia.
Shape: Freeform Triangle.
Dimensions: 6mm x 5mm (2mm thickness)
Origin: SA, Australia.
The colours of an opal are often difficult to completely accurately show in photos due to them playing with the light and colours through different angles. Which is why I aim to show different images from different angle and different natural light to try give a good representation.
Please note, the price you are paying now acts as your deposit to claim the opal as yours, ready to be made into your desired piece of jewellery.
An additional payment will be required once a design is finalised and the jewellery is finished. This payment is for the silver and the cost for me to hand-make the jewellery.
You will pay postage for your stone now which will then cover the postage of your finished product to you once it is made.
